Mrs. Kelli Mankin

My name is Kelli Mankin and I am your Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade School Counselor.  This is my eighth year as a School Counselor; I spent five years in Cherokee County as a K-2nd Counselor and this is my third year at Matt ES!

I am married to my husband Michael, and we have our wonderful daughter, Liberty.  We also have a 2 year old Border Collie/Shih Tzu Mix named Archie. In my spare time, I love being with my family, being outside with my daughter and Archie, and playing board games. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. In 2015, I attended Georgia State University where I graduated with a Master’s in School Counseling.  As a School Counselor, my role is to educate, empower, encourage, and advocate for my students through classroom guidance lessons, individual counseling, and small group counseling. My goal is to help students become their own problem solvers; most of my classroom guidance lessons will include GRIT and Growth Mindset.

I am looking forward to working with our wonderful students and their families this year! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
