My name is Pat Brown. I’m very excited to be back for my second year as a Matt Mariner. This will be my 20^th year teaching in Forsyth County. I was born and raised in Athens (Go Dawgs!), but I’ve lived in Forsyth County for the past 19 years. I taught 2^nd and 3^rd grade for sixteen years and I’ve worked with EIP and ESOL students for the past three years. I am excited to continue working with ESOL students at Matt!  Outside of school, I stay busy with my family. I spend as much time as I can outside working in the yard, playing with our two dogs, Finley and Scout, mountain biking, and going on Jeep adventures.

My name is Amanda Corbin. I grew up in Forsyth County and graduated from South Forsyth High School. This school year will be my 13th year teaching. I have taught in various positions, including Kindergarten, Title I, and K-5 ESOL. Prior to that, I taught GA Pre-K and subbed in various classrooms and special needs settings in Forsyth County. My husband and I moved to Italy last year for a work opportunity. I am looking forward to being back in Forsyth County Schools. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and playing with my Dachshund mix, Roxy. I love to travel, read, write, cook/bake, paint, and craft. I am looking forward to working with the staff and families of the Matt Community this year!
