This is my 19th year in education and 11th as an administrator. I am excited to join the Poole’s Mill community as principal this year. I was previously at Cumming Elementary and Chestatee Elementary. Prior to being an administrator, I taught at both Brookwood Elementary and Silver City Elementary. I am a proud Auburn graduate where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. I am passionate about working together to foster a strong community that is positively impacting the lives of those around them. In my free time, you will find me spending time outside with my husband and two sons. I look forward to working with you.

This fall begins Mr. Boyd's 24th year of public education.  He spent 15 years as a teacher at the middle school and high school levels, one year as a high school Administrative Assistant, four years as Assistant Principal at Chestatee Elementary, and two years as Assistant Principal at Lakeside Middle School.   He earned his Undergraduate Degree from Auburn University, a Master's from UNG, and a Specialist from Columbus State University.  Prior to entering public education, Mr. Boyd served four years in the United States Marine Corps.  In his free time, Rob enjoys reading, woodworking, hiking, and spending time with his family.  He and his wife, Michelle, three children at NFHS.  Their twin boys, Jackson & Mitchell, are Juniors and their daughter, Evie, is a Freshman.

Mrs. Sandra Phillips completed her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia and her Master’s and Specialist degrees from the University of North Georgia. She has been a part of Forsyth County Schools since 1997.  Prior to being an Assistant Principal, Mrs. Phillips served as an Assistant Administrator, a Quality Work Facilitator, a STEM Specials Teacher, an EIP teacher, an ESOL teacher, a Kindergarten teacher, and a Second Grade teacher.  

Mrs. Phillips is married to Mike Phillips and has two adult children, Madison and Noah.  She enjoys spending time with her family, watching UGA football, and going to the beach any chance she gets. She believes that building positive relationships with all stakeholders is the first step in helping our students become successful in life. Mrs. Phillips is excited to continue her role in supporting teachers, students, and families as a Poole's Mill Pirate!

Mrs. Swaim completed her undergraduate studies at Auburn University. War Eagle!  She also holds a Master's Degree from Piedmont College and an Education Specialist Degree in Education and Administration from the University of North Georgia.  Mrs. Swaim began her teaching career in 1999 at Settles Bridge Elementary, where she taught both second and third grades.  She served as Assistant Principal at Big Creek Elementary and Mashburn Elementary before joining the Poole’s Mill Family this year.
