    “Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports" (PBIS) is a research-based, school-wide framework to improve school climate and academic outcomes.  Schools implementing PBIS determine a few positively stated, easy to remember behavioral expectations as a basis for their framework.  These core concepts are the focus for consistent routines and student acknowledgements in every school setting.
