    My name is Danielle Grieme and I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year! I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2006. This will be my 18th year teaching and my 6th year teaching 2nd grade! I have also taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade, but 2nd grade is my favorite!

    My name is Sharla Crawford and I am thrilled to be a second grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year! I graduated from North Georgia College and State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. I later returned and received a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I reside in Cumming, Georgia, with my husband and three stepdaughters. In our spare time we enjoy traveling, playing tennis, and boating. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

    Hello! My name is Alison McMaster and I am very excited to be teaching second grade at Brandywine! I graduated Kennesaw State University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and American College of Education with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I live in Alpharetta with my husband Zack and our two dogs, Simon and Winnie. In my free time I love to go on hikes and go see musicals. I am looking forward to another great year of being a Badger!

    Hello, my name is Jacky Prieto and I am so excited to be your second grade DLI teacher! I was born and raised in Miami, FL. I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education with an Endorsement in Reading and ESOL from Florida International University in 2020. After I graduated, I married my high school sweetheart, Matthew, and we moved to Georgia. When I’m not in the classroom, my husband and I love traveling to new places and hiking! If I’m not hiking, you can probably find me exploring the aisles of Target and Hobby Lobby! I feel so blessed to be working at the best school in the world, Brandywine! This will be my 4th year teaching and my 3rd year as a second grade DLI teacher. I can’t wait to learn with you!

    Leahy Brenda Leahy
    My name is Brenda Leahy and I am thrilled to be on the 2nd grade team at BWE!  I earned my M.Ed from UNG and my Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.  Georgia has been my home for over 12 years, but I am originally from Massachusetts.  The warm winters and friendly people keep me happy here.  I have been teaching for over 10 years and feel so blessed to serve the students and families of the BWE community.  In addition to being a busy mom to two high schoolers, I am also a movie buff, avid reader, and traveler.  I have visited over 28 states, much of Europe, and Australia.  However, my favorite journey is the one that I take with my new students every fall.  

    I am looking forward to another incredible school year.  I welcome the opportunity to work with your child and help create a love of learning, encourage their natural curiosity, and nurture the whole child within.  Your child is going to have an incredible experience in 2nd grade by developing their talents, facing new learning challenges, and forming warm friendships in our supportive classroom community.

    Hey! My name is Tabatha Crawford. I grew up in Buford and met my husband, Ethan, in Dahlonega at UNG. We have a toddler named Casen and a Bernedoodle named Oliver. I love taking naps, traveling, eating yummy food, and spending time with my family. This will be my sixth year teaching at BWE. I've taught ACA, 1st, and 2nd grade. I look forward to a great year with all of our new Badgers!

    Romero Liliana Romero

    My name is Liliana Romero. I am so excited to be a part of the 2nd grade DLI team at Brandywine! This will be my 13th year as a teacher and my 7th year at Brandywine. I attended Georgia State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL Endorsement in 2011. In April 2019, I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Reading and Mathematics from Walden University. I am married and I have two daughters, Giselle (11) and Elisa (2). During my free time, I enjoy crafting and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to a fabulous year!
