    My name is Pam Counter, and this will be my 24th year teaching elementary school. For the past 21 years, I have worked in Forsyth County, and I have taught both kindergarten and second grade, and next year will be my first year teaching 3rd grade! I am looping with my current 2nd grade class, and I am super excited to have this opportunity! When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my husband, 5 children, and 2 grandchildren. In addition, I love to read and play pickleball!

    My name is Veronica Beattie and I am excited to be a part of the third grade team here at Brandywine. This will be my 18th year teaching! Once again, I will be co-teaching with Ms. Gann and I could not be more excited! Personally, I have 3 kids: Olivia, Smith, and Wes and I also have 3 cats whom I love dearly!

    My name is Ana Rossi and I love teaching at Brandywine Elementary ! This will be my 21th year teaching. I did my undergrad at Eastern University in Pensylvania and my Masters in Education at Reinharth University here in Georgia. My husband James and I have 3 children. I love to read and spend summers in Pennsylvania with the rest of our family.

    McDearmon    Kate McDearmon
    My name is Kate McDearmon, and I am thrilled to be a Brandywine Badger! This is my 13th year of teaching and my fifth year at BWE. Prior to this, I taught 2nd and 4th grades in Gwinnett County, Phenix City, Alabama, and an American school in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have two kids in the DLI program at BWE: Alice (8) and Miles (6)! I have both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia. In addition, I hold ESOL certification and elementary mathematics and reading endorsements. My husband, Brian, is a high school English teacher in Fulton County, and we enjoy living in the Alpharetta community. In my free time, I love to play the flute and go on adventures with my family. 3rd grade is an incredible year of learning and growth, and I feel privileged to spend it with you and your child!

    Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Michelle Stuparits and I am excited to begin my 14th year of teaching. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, and Third. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/ Special Education (P-5). This year will be filled with fun, learning, and excitement! I am looking forward to building positive relationships with my students and having an amazing school year!

    My name is Amy O'Keefe, and I am excited to be back at Brandywine Elementary School teaching third grade. I received my bachelors degree in education from the University of Georgia and several years later got my masters degree from Georgia State University. After that I earned my specialists degree in teaching and learning from Piedmont College. I have taught for thirty years in GA, FL, CA, and CT in both private and public schools. I look forward to another great year with the students and families of Brandywine!

    Guttery Jane Guttery

    My name is Jane Guttery, and I am very excited for the second year teaching third grade at Brandywine and my sixth year with Forsyth County. Prior to Forsyth County, I taught in Fulton and DeKalb Counties. I graduated with my B.S. degree from Vanderbilt University and my Masters in Education from Georgia State University. I have two grown children and one grandson. When not teaching, I love to spend time with family, my two dogs, traveling, and cheering on the UGA Dawgs!

    Tossing   Kendall Tossing

    My name is Kendall Tossing, and I am very excited to be teaching 3rd grade at Brandywine Elementary! I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2020 with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Mathematics (K-8). I am originally from the Chicagoland area, so I am a big Chicago sports fan. In my spare time I love going to baseball games, going to the beach, playing volleyball, and reading.
