Hi, Sharon Families! I’m so excited to be in my 2nd year at SES! For the 2023-24 school year, I will be the school counselor for K, 2nd and 4th grades! 

I have 28 years in education - 22 of those as an elementary  school counselor. I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education and my master’s degree in school counseling both from Mississippi State University! Go Bulldogs!  I was a teacher and school counselor in MS and Birmingham, AL before moving to Georgia. One of the best parts of being a school counselor is helping students build their self-confidence and discover that they are able to be resilient in all situations! I look forward to supporting Sharon students, families and staff in having a successful school year! 

Brookhaven, MS is my hometown and I have lived in Georgia since 2016. My husband, Bob, and I have been married for 7 years, have a 5 year old little boy named Sully and 2 dogs. We are members of Alpharetta Methodist Church where I serve on the Children’s Council and volunteer with the children’s and coffee ministries. I enjoy cooking, painting, playing tennis and spending time with my family. 

Hello! My name is Kimberly Mcleod. I am a Georgia native and have lived in Forsyth County since 2002. 

I have been married to my spouse Chris for 22 years and we have three amazing boys ages 8, 10 and 14. We also have a new pup, Leo! We enjoy going to the lake and family movie nights!

I received my master's in counseling from Georgia state and then received my specialist Degree in school counseling from the University of Georgia in 2007. I have worked with Forsyth County Schools in a counseling capacity since 2002. 

I also have my LPC and been working in a group practice in Cumming since 2018. I am excited to join the Sharon Elementary Family and provide counseling in the schools again!
