I am excited to be starting my 7th year as the school nurse here at Sharon Elementary. I have a very big love for this school and it’s incredible teaching staff!

I obtained a bachelor of science in nursing from The Ohio State University and have been a nurse for 28 years. I have worked in many different settings including labor and delivery, medical-surgical, and cardiology.

I am originally from Ohio, but have lived in Georgia for the past 18 years. I have been married for 28 years and have 4 awesome kids. My oldest daughter graduated from UGA, and will attend grad school starting this fall. My second daughter will be a junior at Augusta University College of Nursing in Athens.  My 3rd daughter will be a junior at Lambert. My son will be in 8th grade at SFMS. All 4 of my kids attended Sharon. 

I am certified in adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED, and I am a member of the Georgia Association of School Nurses (GASN).

I am super excited to be working with your children. I am dedicated to the health and well being of the students here at Sharon to facilitate an optimal learning environment.
