I’m Kate Anderson-Ellis. I’m very excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Brandywine Elementary for the 2024-2025 school year. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and enjoyed doing my student teaching in London, England. To further my education, I received a reading and math endorsement as well. During my 17 year teaching career, I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grade! I’m the mother of six awesome and unique kids (ranging from 8-19 ages). I’m the wife of an amazingly supportive man, Jonathan Ellis. As a family, we focus on our core values and family motto. Teamwork makes the dream work! When I am not being an unpaid Uber driver, I love to build Lego sets, scrapbooking, and reading!

My name is Tabatha Crawford and I'm excited to be starting my 7th year teaching here at Brandywine! I graduated from the University of North Georgia. I have taught ACA, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. I'm looking forward to another amazing year at BWE!

My name is Danielle Grieme and I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year! I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2006. This will be my 18th year teaching and my 6th year teaching 2nd grade! I have also taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade, but 2nd grade is my favorite!

Hello! My name is Alison McMaster and I am very excited to be teaching second grade at Brandywine! I graduated Kennesaw State University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and American College of Education with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I live in Alpharetta with my husband Zack and our two dogs, Simon and Winnie. In my free time I love to go on hikes and go see musicals. I am looking forward to another great year of being a Badger!

My name is Liliana Romero. I am the 2nd Grade DLI Spanish teacher at Brandywine Elementary! This will be my 14th year as a teacher and my 8th year at BWE. I attended Georgia State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL Endorsement in 2011. In April 2019, I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Reading and Mathematics from Walden University. I am married and I have two daughters, Giselle (12) and Elisa (3). During my free time, I enjoy crafting and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to a fabulous year!

My name is Jennifer Smith and I am very excited to be teaching DLI 2nd Grade at Brandywine Elementary for the 2024-25 school year. I graduated from the University of Georgia with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2004. GO DAWGS!! After graduation, I taught kindergarten at Harmony Elementary School in Gwinnett County and taught privately for a few years while my children were young. I have 3 children who are currently 18, 16, and 15. I've spent the last 8 years teaching kindergarten here at Brandywine. In that time, I received my masters from Georgia State in ECE with a concentration in Dual Language and last year I was a Teacher of the Year finalist for the county. I am looking forward to transitioning to 2nd grade DLI!
