Hi Miners! My name is Kristi Baggarly and I’m thrilled to be joining the Coal Mountain family as a speech-language pathologist!  I have been practicing speech pathology for 18 years after receiving my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Georgia.  I am married to Wade and we are parents to three former Miners:  Annie Lynn (10^th grade), Kimber (4^th grade, now at Matt Elementary) and Kendle who was in a special education classroom at CMES.  We enjoy spending time at the lake, cheering on our girls in their sports/activities and traveling.

I know this is going to be a wonderful year! I look forward to meeting students and their families as we work together to reach their goals!

 My name is Anna Beattie and I am so excited to be here at Coal Mountain! I have been teaching for 9 years, 6 of those years working in special education. Before I started my career I was a collegiate soccer player. I have a bachelors degrees in Early Childhood Education and a masters degree in Mathematics. I was born and raised here in Georgia, my family and I moved to Forsyth County in 2019. In my free time I love to spend time with my husband and our four children, whether we are at the soccer fields or finding a way to get to the beach it’s always a crazy adventure with the kids in tow. I truly cannot wait to begin the school year and start building relationships with you and the students here at Coal Mountain. 

Hi friends! My name is Sydney Bramblett and I am going into my 5th year teaching, and my 3rd year here at Coal Mountain. I was born and raised here in Forsyth County, and I am also a 4th generation teacher within my family in Forsyth County. I love spending time with my family and friends, going to church, and going kayaking and hiking any chance I get. I also love going to the gym. I love being a Coal Mountain Miner and I can’t wait for another fantastic school year!

Hello, my name is Danielle Cox and I am proud to be a Coal Mountain Miner. I am a native of Forsyth County and a product of our fantastic school systems! I became a teacher in 2010 after several years in the medical field as a medical assistant.
I have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University, a Master's in Early Childhood Education and a Specialist's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctorate degree in special education from Liberty University. I have been a special education teacher since 2019, prior to that I served as an inclusion classroom teacher in 1st and 3rd grades.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my blended family of six (two children in their twenties and two teenagers) and our two fur-babies. In what free time I have, I love to cook, read anything I can get my hands on, and spend time outside in my garden and with the chickens.

I have been teaching since 2004 and have loved every minute. I have two boys one who attends Coal Mountain with me and my oldest is headed off to middle school. In my down time I love to watch college football especially the Dawgs, workout and go to new and interesting restaurants. Spending time with family and friends makes my heart full. My family loves to travel and we can't wait to plan our next big trip

My name is Robin Forrester. This will be my 6th year teaching at Coal Mountain. In total I have been teaching for 18 years. I have my Masters in Education from Bureau University. I love spending time with my husband, Calvin and our 2 daughters, Katie and Carly. Both girls are currently attending college. We enjoy spending time at the beach, going to church, playing games, and just hanging out together. I am looking forward to another exciting year on the Mountain.

Hello, my name is Courtney Gourley. I have been teaching for 16 years and starting my 2nd year at Coal Mountain! My husband, Kyle, is a teacher and coach at North Forsyth High School. We love the Raiders!! If you go to the games, you will see our daughters, Whitney (6th grade) and Ally Brooke (4th grade) under the scoreboard! I'm looking forward to a great year on the mountain!!

My name is Michelle Hilger and this will be my 8th year teaching at Coal Mountain Elementary and 12th year teaching in Forsyth County. I graduated from North Georgia in Early Childhood Development and Special Education. I am a Forsyth County native and love being involved in our community. My husband and I have been married for 17 wonderful years. I have an awesome son who also attends a Forsyth County school and a daughter who will celebrate her first birthday this year! We love to travel, camp, read, and spend time with family and friends. I look forward to another fabulous year on the Mountain!

My name is Lauren Holmes and I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Early Childhood Education from North Georgia College and State University (now UNG, but go Saints!) and went on to earn my Master’s and Specialist degree as well. This will be my 15th year teaching with 12 of those dedicated to Special Education, working with students from Kindergarten to Sixth grade. Outside of work, you'll find me juggling a lively household alongside my amazing husband, Derrick, and our three wonderful kids: Vera, Dean, and Rori. I can’t wait to join you on the mountain!

Hello, I am Merri Huggins.  I am a Speech Pathologist with 25 years of experience in Georgia schools.  I have worked primarily in rural schools, and I am excited to join ����ֱ��app at Coal Mountain Elementary School.  My husband, Kelly and I have been married 31 years, have four children and six grandchildren. I attended Valdosta State University for my graduate and undergraduate studies, but The Dawgs are /domain/4176/1 in my heart. Go Dawgs!!

Mrs. Krauth graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She received her Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning, holds an ESOL endorsement, and is certified in Special Education. 

Mrs. Krauth has been teaching since 2009. Her teaching experiences include; high school ESOL, EIP in upper elementary,  virtual teaching across all elementary levels to support Special Education students, a variety of grade levels both in the elementary general education and special education setting. Mrs. Krauth currently is thrilled to work with students that have special needs! 

Mrs. Krauth grew up in Cumming and is honored to work in the school system that has molded her as a student and also a teacher. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children on the lake. Mrs. Krauth is looking forward to a spectacular school year at Coal Mountain where she and her students can learn and grow together!

Hi! My name is Diana Noe and this is my fifth year at Coal Mountain and my 13th year teaching speech and language in schools. I received my undergraduate degree from Ole Miss - Hotty Toddy! - and I hold master’s degrees in Speech/Language Pathology and in Dyslexia Therapy. I received my Specialist degree in Language and Literacy in 2018. My husband Scott and I have two daughters, Leigh Ellen who lives in Lafayette, GA with her husband Thomas, and Eliza who is a journalist in Norfolk, VA. Scott and I love living in the North Georgia mountains with its beautiful scenery and wildlife. I look forward to the new school year and helping my students reach their communication goals!

This is my 23rd year in Forsyth County Schools, and I am excited to be at Coal Mountain for a fourth year! I will be working with a variety of grade levels. My goal is to help each student be their best in expressing what they have to say. I enjoy getting to know each of my students on an individual basis. When I am not at school, I am spending time with family, reading a good book or going on a hike.

Hello! My name is Tysha Roberts, this will be my 17th year teaching and 4th year at Coal Mountain Elementary. Originally, I am from Florida where I graduated from UF (Go Gators!) with my undergrad and my Master's in Teaching Exceptional Children from UWF. My husband and I moved to GA in 1999 where we have raised 3 amazing kids. In our free time, we love boating, lake life, traveling, and saltwater fishing. I am looking forward to another amazing year here on the Mountain!

My name is Paige Turner, and this will be my 7th year here at Coal Mountain Elementary School and my 15th year teaching. I am a Berry College graduate and got my master’s degree from UGA! My husband, William, and I have 2 wonderful children. My daughter, Avery, is in third grade and my son, Lucas, will be joining us on the Mountain in kindergarten! I work as an interrelated teacher for the upper grades. When I am not at school you can find me playing outside with my kids, playing tennis, and soccer. I am extremely excited to be a part of this community and can’t wait to have another great year at CMES!!

I also mom to Ruby, one of our therapy dogs at Coal Mountain.

Hi! I have been teaching since 2008 & have spent all of my years in special education. I am an NGCSU graduate, got my Master's degree from Walden University, and my Specialist degree from Piedmont University. My husband teaches and coaches tennis at West Forsyth HS so I love cheering on his team. We have 3 amazing kids- Landon (9), Charlie (5), and Piper (1)- and 2 energetic pups, Peach & Daisy. When I am not in school, you might find me playing outside with my kids and dogs or playing tennis. I’m looking forward to another great year at CMES!
