Mrs. Bearden has been teaching in Forsyth County for 15 years. She has been a Whitlow Wolf since 2012. Mrs. Bearden also taught 4th grade at Cumming Elementary prior to Whitlow. She holds a Ed.S in Curriculum Design & Instruction. Mrs. Bearden has certification in the areas of Special Education, reading instruction/assessment, and ESOL. She and her husband, Jeremy both enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their animals. She is excited for another wonderful school year!

Ms. Benton is entering her 21st year of teaching students with disabilities. She has a Masters Degree in Inclusive Education from Kennesaw State University, a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Georgia. Ms. Benton is Orton-Gillingham trained as a Classroom Educator. She incorporates music, motion and fun into her lessons. 

Mrs. Carroll is teaching her 29th year in the Forsyth County Schools System. She has taught at Cumming Elementary as well as at Whitlow. She has taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, ESOL, and EIP. She has been married to John since 1994. Their son Will is starting college at UNG. The family dog is a Great Pyrenees named Georgie. They attend Oak Grove Baptist Church.

This is Mrs. Coker's 12th year as an IRR teacher. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received a master's degree in Special Education from the University of West Georgia. Mrs. Coker has taught Kindergarten through 4th grade. 

Mrs. Gunn is starting her 7th year teaching. This is her 2nd year at Whitlow Elementary. She holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. She also has her ESOL endorsement. She and her husband enjoy spending time with family, camping, and game nights. She is excited for another year at a wonderful school! 

This is Mrs. Harris’ 20th year in education. She has taught kindergarten through 3rd grade as well as EIP support. She started teaching in Savannah, Georgia after graduating from Furman University with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She also received a Master's degree from Georgia Southern University.

Erin McGuire is beginning her third year at Whitlow Elementary. Previously, she has taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Whitlow after moving from Ohio in 2020. Prior to her move to Georgia, Mrs. McGuire taught 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade. Mrs. McGuire is beginning her 23rd year of teaching. She loves connecting with students and building relationships to help support their growth. 

Mrs. McWhorter joined the Whitlow family in 2009 when the school opened. She has taught first grade, kindergarten, been an Instructional Assistant and a Long-Term Substitute over the past 33 years in Forsyth County. She is happy to be a part of the wonderful EIP team this year. 

Mrs. Neubrecht started her teaching career in Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and went to Wayne State for her Master's degree. While in Michigan, Mrs. Neubrecht taught 8th grade Social Studies and Spanish. She has been teaching in Forsyth County since 2008. She has taught 2nd, 5th and Special Education. 

Mrs. Parker is an EIP (Early Intervention Program) teacher in 5th grade. Whitlow has been her home since opening in 2009. Prior to Whitlow, she taught at Cumming Elementary and Idlewood Elementary (DeKalb County). Her Bachelors Degree (Human Sciences) and Masters (Elementary Education) were both obtained at Auburn University (War Eagle). Since beginning her career, she has obtained an ESOL, Gifted, Math, and Dyslexia Endorsement.

Mrs. Taylor is beginning her 3rd year of teaching! This will be her second year teaching at Whitlow. She graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education, as well as a Reading Endorsement. Her and her husband, Nathan both enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their dog, Mia. She is very excited to begin her second year as a Whitlow Wolf. 

Kaycee is a proud Forsyth County native. After graduating from the Forsyth County Public School System, she received her Associate’s Degree from Gainesville State College. She then graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Middle School Education from North Georgia College and State University (UNG). She is certified in Elementary and Special Education. She also received her Math and Dyslexia Endorsements. This is her 12th year teaching at Whitlow. She has loved being able to teach and support students K-5.
