This will be Katie's first year working at Whitlow Elementary as Secretary.  For the last three years she has volunteered at the school, served on the PTO Board and is currently beginning her second term as PTO President.  She has also served on the Local School Council (LSC) for two years.  Katie graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Speech Communication and minor in English... Go Dawgs!  After graduation she was an executive at Macy's for almost nine years. She is married to her husband Justin of 13 years and they have two children, Blakely and Brooks, who attend Whitlow. When Katie is not at the school, you're most likely to find her at the cheer gym or at a baseball or football field with her kids.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs between the hedges, and traveling to National Parks with her family.

Mrs. Martinez is starting her 7th year working at Whitlow and her 2nd year working in the front office as receptionist. She is happy to be part of this wonderful family. She has been married for 10 years to her husband, Jorge. They have 2 beautiful children, Camila, who is 8 years old, and Santiago, who is 2. She loves to spend time with her family and friends. 

I am happy to be starting my 2nd full year at Whitlow as the data clerk. I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 36 years. We have a son, Colby, and a daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Jarrett. We were thrilled to welcome our grandson, Banks, to our family on October 16th.
