  • FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) is the varsity division. Students of all grade levels and pathways are encouraged to apply. Applications for the 2024-2025 season will open in August.

    We're looking for engineers, builders, designers, programmers, entrepreneurs, artists, writers, and change-makers to join our team.

    Imagine using professional-grade 3D modeling software to bring your design dreams to life, followed by rapid prototyping on the laser cutter and precision machining custom aluminum parts on our in-house Shopbot CNC and Tormach 1100MX.

    Watching your finalized 125lb robot barrel across the competition field is a feeling like no other. But FIRST isn't just about competition; it's about Gracious Professionalism. We're committed to excellence on and off the field, logging over 1500+ volunteer hours each season to plant the seeds of STEM in our community.

    High-school students often describe FIRST as "the hardest fun you'll ever have." It's like working in a 40-person startup: fast-paced, ever-changing, and always innovating. FIRST challenges students, developing their technical and leadership skills like communication, team collaboration, project management, and resilience.
