Hello! I'm Mrs. Lori Bryant! I'm so excited to return for my 26th year as a counselor, 9th year in Forsyth County Schools, & 2nd year as part of the Brookwood Family as your K-2 School Counselor! I am a proud graduate of Auburn University for my Bachelor's Degree, University of Phoenix (Honolulu Campus) for my Master's in Counseling Degree, University of Mississippi for my Educational Specialist Degree in Counseling with an emphasis on school-based Play Therapy and am continuing my counseling education as I work towards my doctorate through the school of behavioral sciences at Liberty University. I look forward to continuing to partner with the Ridiculously Amazing families, teachers, admin, and staff of Brookwood to help our students be their very best! Grace Matcha is thrilled to be a Brookwood Bobcat as the School Counselor for grades 3-5! This will be Mrs. Matcha's 12th year as a school counselor and 17th year in the field of education. She holds a bachelor's degree in English Education and a Master's degree in School Counseling. She also holds certifications in Tier I Leadership and Mindfulness and Movement. She is currently working on her Specialist degree in School Counseling. Mrs. Matcha loves encouraging others and building upon their strengths. She believes that every child has unique gifts and considers it to be an honor to be in a position to support students through their journey in education. In her free time, Mrs. Matcha enjoys spending time with her husband, one year old son and their two dogs.
