My name is Tania Carullo, and this will be my 17th year teaching overall. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware in Elementary Education and obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Technology shortly after. I have three children. Katelyn is a 5th grader at Brookwood, Connor is a 7th grader at SFMS, and Michael is a Sophomore at Lambert High School. I love to read, go to the beach, and spend time with my family in my free time. I am thrilled to be part of the Brookwood kindergarten team and look forward to another great year!

Hello Bobcat Family! My name is Katelyn Gillio, and I will be teaching Kindergarten at Brookwood this year!! I recently graduated from Reinhardt University with my Master's in Elementary Education. I received my Bachelors in Psychology in Atlanta where I worked as a lead teacher in a private preschool. I am originally from Canton but I love Forsyth County and I'm so excited to be here! I love spending time outdoors with my husband, reading with one (or three) of my kitty cats, and hanging out with friends and family! I am looking forward to joining the Brookwood family and I can't wait for the school year to start! 

Hi! My name is Sydney Hogan, and this will be my 2nd year of teaching! I love being a part of the Kindergarten team and Bobcat family! I graduated from the University of North Georgia and received my degree in Early Childhood and Special Education with a reading endorsement. I was also born and raised in Forsyth County. I love cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with friends and family. I am looking to another amazing year filled with learning and memories! /domain/2342/gobeawesome

My name is Lourdes Lucarelli, and this will be my 27th year of teaching. I graduated from Saint Vincent's College in Dipolog City, Philippines, with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. I taught in Elementary School for two years before moving to America. Once I moved, I taught the Georgia Funded Pre-K for 17 years. Following this, I moved to Brookwood, where I am entering my 8th year. During this time, I have also earned a Master's Degree in Arts of Teaching from Piedmont University. I am excited and looking forward to this school year. I hope my education, devotion, and talent will help the children reach their goals and full potential. Together We've Got This! 

Mrs. McCavitt is entering her 23rd year of teaching. She graduated from Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in Education and is certified to teach the alternate curriculum in Georgia. She has taught 5th grade general education, K-5 in the Mild Intellectual Disability classroom, and is starting her 6th year as the Autism teacher at Brookwood. Mrs. McCavitt is thrilled to teach in a classroom where she can begin to teach at the level where each child is. She loves teaching and exploring replacement behaviors and finding ways for all of her students to be the best version of themselves. Her experience at Brookwood has been some of the best years in her teaching career, and she looks forward to having another amazing year with her wonderful, talented, fun, and sweet students! 

I have been teaching for 26 years. This makes year 27. I graduated with an undergraduate degree from Piedmont College and a master's degree from North Georgia College and State University. I also received my endorsements in Gifted Education and ESOL.

Hi! My name is Allyn Elliott and this will be my 10th year with Forsyth County Schools as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. I graduated from the Terry College of Business at University of Georgia with a Marketing degree, so I love those Georgia Bulldogs! I am married with 3 kids, 1 daughter and 2 boys! My daughter is in college and will be a nurse assistant soon! Both of my boys are very active in sports, football and baseball, so we stay very busy enjoying that. I love spending time with family, exercising, shopping  and the beach. My favorite vacation spot is Amelia Island! I’m so excited to become a part of the Brookwood Family and can’t wait to meet all of you! 

I am Mrs. Hema Mohan. I graduated in 1996 with my Master’s Degree from the University of Chennai, India. This is my fifth year as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant at Brookwood. Before moving to Atlanta, I taught Pre-School in Raleigh, NC. I look forward to another great year working with amazing kids at Brookwood. I love seeing them grow as they learn. I believe that my education and experience will benefit the growth of children to achieve their goals with 100% success. Go Be Awesome.

Mrs. Walsh graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Philosophy/History. She worked as a para in Kindergarten and 5th grade for two years at Monsignor Slade Catholic School in M.D. before moving to GA in 2014. Mrs. Walsh began subbing for Forsyth County Schools in 2016 and was thrilled to accept an offer from Brookwood as a para in 2018. This will be the start of her third year here at Brookwood, and she is looking forward to an exciting new school year!
