I am honored to serve as the principal of Riverwatch Middle School.  It is my privilege and delight to have the opportunity to work with our incredible students, dedicated staff, and engaged parents in fostering a thriving educational environment in the Lambert Connected Community.  I began my career in Forsyth County in the 2013-2014 school year. Through my 10 years in Forsyth, I have served as an English classroom teacher, Media Specialist, ITS, Assistant Principal, and CTAE Supervisor at the high school level. I hold a bachelor's degree from Georgia State University, a master's degree from the University of North Georgia, and a master's degree from the University of Georgia in Leadership.

As I step into the role of Middle School Principal, I will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and a passion for lifelong learning. I believe that every student deserves a safe, connected, and thriving space to develop their unique talents and skills. I look forward to bringing my experience and passion for learning to the River---Go Panthers!

This will be my 9th year serving as an Assistant Principal here at Riverwatch Middle School, and my 12th year in Forsyth County. Throughout my educational career, I have taught grades 1-8, but enjoyed my middle school time due to the ability to coach athletics. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from King University, a Master’s degree from Lincoln Memorial University, and an Educational Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University. My family includes my amazing wife Lesley, and 4 awesome kids ranging in age from 3-25. I believe in people and relationships, and I strive to make sure every student has a platform to be their best every day. I am extremely excited for the 23-24 school year, and I look for forward to serving the students, staff, and families of the Riverwatch community.

As a graduate of Forsyth County Schools, I feel especially honored to serve as an assistant principal at Riverwatch Middle School. My teaching career began in 2002, and I taught language arts, reading, and ESOL before leaving the classroom to serve as an instructional coach, student support coordinator, and assistant principal. This will be my 6th year at Riverwatch. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia, a master's degree from North Georgia University, and a specialist degree from Nova Southeastern University. I have been married for 20 years, and our son currently attends Forsyth County Schools. I love seeing the growth and success of our students, both academically and outside the classroom. Go Panthers!
