• Piney Grove Middle School Art

     

    Welcome to the Piney Grove Middle School Web Page! As the art teacher, It is my goal to make art a class students enjoy and create a supportive, stress-free environment while still adressing the required academic standards with high expectations. Students will demonstrate their understanding of the elements of art and principles of design by creating 2-D and 3-D works of art, contributing to school-wide displays and exhibitions, and through collaborative academic discourse stratagies. Students are not required to purchase anything for art class, but are expected to come to class every day with an appreciation and respect for the consumable resources they will be given the opportunity to use. For students that wish to enrich their experiences in art, please see Mr. Lundy regarding the PGMS ART CLUB. I look forward to help each student grow and flourish as an artist!
