Library Hours:

8:45am - 11:35pm

12:05pm - 4:15pm

Library Procedures:

Students will sign in to the media center upon their arrival.

Respectful behavior is expected in the media center.

Library Policies:

Students may check out 2 books at a time.

Books are checked out for 14 days and may be renewed once.

Students may place a hold on materials that are not available at the time of check out.

Overdue notices are sent to the parent email address on file in Infinite Campus each Sunday evening.

Students with overdue books may not check out any new materials until their overdue books are returned.

VCMS does not charge late fees for overdue materials.

If a book is lost, the student will be fined the cost of the replacement.

Students with library fines for lost or damaged materials may not check out any new materials until their fines have been paid.

Students are eligible for refunds of fines assessed only if the lost materials are found within 30 days of being marked 'lost.' 

***STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MATERIALS CHECKED OUT IN THEIR NAME. IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP UP WITH THEIR LIBRARY MATERIALS AND ENSURE THE PROPER USE AND RETURN OF THESE MATERIALS TO THE MEDIA CENTER.
