Hello KME families and welcome to Kindergarten! I grew up in Savannah, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I started my teaching career in Gwinnett County where I taught 2nd grade for 9 years and 3rd grade for 2 years. After being a stay at home mom for 5 years, I began substitute teaching in Forsyth County. This included long term sub positions in 4th grade and Kindergarten. My time in Kindergarten gave me the answer to what I wanted to do next. This will be my fifth fantastic year teaching Kindergarten here at Kelly Mill! My husband, Dan, and I have been married for 20 years and we have 3 boys. Braddock is in 11th grade at Lambert High School, Cade is in 8th and Garron is in 6th at Riverwatch Middle. I look forward to working with your family and encouraging your child as they learn and grow this year!

Hi everyone! My name is Christine Cane and I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten.
I was born and raised in California where I received my Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Psychology and Behavioral Science from San Jose State University. Then I continued to pursue a Teaching Credential and have been happily teaching for nineteen years.
I am lucky to have a wonderful family. I have an amazing husband, two awesome children and two cute dogs. We enjoy traveling, baseball, and the ocean. I love all animals and I have a passion for protecting and caring for them.
I look forward to an exciting year!

Hey KME Colts! My name is Christina Harbuck and I am so excited to meet you and your family! I am part of the Kindergarten team at KME and have had the privilege to teach the exciting age of Kindergarten for 21 years! This is my 6th year at Kelly Mill and I have loved getting to know many of you and your families while working with your sweet babies! I have my Master's in Early Childhood Education along with a Reading and Mentor Endorsement. My husband, Carey, and I have a daughter, Cathryn, who will be going to first grade this year. We're excited about her continuing to learn and grow at Kelly Mill! We love going camping, participating in sports, and cheering on our favorite sports teams....Go Dawgs! I'm so excited to meet and work with you and your child this year! It's going to be a great year!!

I am so excited to have your child in my class this year!  My name is Kristy Harrell.  I grew up in Alpharetta and graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. This will be my 25th year of teaching-24 years in Kindergarten. I started my teaching career in Orlando, Florida with experiences in 4th grade and Kindergarten.  I moved back to Georgia in 2003 to continue my career with Forsyth County School at Sharon Elementary. I have been at Kelly Mill since we opened in 2012.  My husband, Billy, and I have been married for 22 years.  We have two sons and a daughter.  David is 20 and is in his third year of college at Jacksonville State University.  Benjamin is 17 and is a senior at Forsyth Central High School.  Hannah is 14 and is a freshman at West Forsyth High School.

Hello! My name is Kerri McNamara and I am so excited to be the Kindergarten DLI English teacher at Kelly Mill! This is my 13th year teaching and I have spent the last 4 years teaching Kindergarten at another Forsyth County School. I received my Masters in Reading and Literacy from Georgia State and also hold an ESOL and Reading Endorsement. I am a mom to 3 wonderful girls. My oldest 2 girls are current Colts in the DLI Program. My husband also works in education and our family enjoys hiking, the beach, and anything Disney! I am looking forward to an amazing year!! 

My name is Karina Quintero and this is my fifth year as a DLI - Spanish teacher at Kelly Mill. I am very excited to start a new school year and meet all of you! I am Peruvian and have lived in Georgia for more than 20 years. I attended the Catholic University (Peru) and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education and later received a diploma in Learning Disabilities. I am married, we have a 16-year-old daughter who is attending her Junior year at Central Forsyth HIgh School, and we have a little dog named Luna. We all love to travel and camp, especially to the beach.

My name is Ashly Stephens and I attended the University of Georgia. (GO DAWGS!) I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades.

I have taught at Kelly Mill since we opened in 2012. This will be my sixteenth year teaching kindergarten, and I wholeheartedly adore this age group!

My husband, Tim, and I have two very active boys, T.J. and Preston. T.J. attends the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and Preston attends Forsyth Central High School.

I believe that “families” are especially valuable and I know that together, we can provide your child with an AMAZING year in Kindergarten!
