    Cheyenne Bryant

    Cheyenne Bryant has three years of teaching experience within Forsyth County Schools. Ms. Bryant began her teaching career as an interrelated resource teacher at Shiloh Point Elementary. This will be her first year teaching on the 5th grade team at Chestatee. She attended the “T” during her childhood and is so excited to come back to her roots! Ms. Bryant received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with a reading endorsement. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Autism at Piedmont University. Ms. Bryant loves her Chestatee community and can’t wait to meet her students!

    Rebekah Cox

    This will be Mrs. Cox's fifth year in 5th grade at Chestatee. She will be teaching math, science, and social studies. Mrs. Cox has a passion for teaching math and helping students learn to have confidence in math. Mrs. Cox received both her Bachelor's and Master's degree from Brenau University. She later received her Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. She has had the joy to have previously taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math. She is excited to help students prepare for the transition to middle school. Mrs. Cox loves to teach and counts herself blessed to have the privilege to do what she loves. She loves the families and community at Chestatee Elementary and is excited for this year of learning and fun!

    Abigail Elrod

    This will be Abigail Ross's fifth at Chestatee Elementary and third year teaching fifth grade. Abigail graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education with both ESOL and Reading endorsements. Abigail is so excited to continue her teaching journey at Chestatee, and to have her classroom family learning and growing with her all year. She loves the "T" and can't wait for another great year!

    Wendy Groover

    This is Wendy Groover's second year teaching at Chestatee. She received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University. Although this is her second year at Chestatee, this will be her 11th year teaching. She previously taught 3rd grade for 6 years and has taught 5th grade for the last 4 years. Ms. Groover loves the Chestatee family and is so excited for a great year!

    Elizabeth Hawkins 

    Elizabeth is excited to be entering her 12th year as an educator. She began her career in Baldwin County Schools as a Special Education Teacher, serving self-contained and interrelated students K-5. She moved to Forsyth County Schools in 2017 and is proud to now be part of the Chestatee Family! Her husband, Jared, is also a Forsyth County Schools Educator and they have two children, Aiden and Adalynn who will both be students at Chestatee. Elizabeth attended Georgia College and State University, earning her Bachelors Degree in Special Education, her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, and her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. When she’s not in the classroom, Elizabeth enjoys gardening and reading. Her favorite book series include, “The Hunger Games,” and “The Chronicles of Narnia.” Thanks for welcoming me to Chestatee!

    Celeste Husted

    This will be Celeste Husted's 19th year of teaching, and her fourth year as a 5th grade teacher at Chestatee. Mrs. Husted received her Bachelor's degree from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, where she went to play tennis. She received her Master's Degree in Middle School Math education at the University of Louisville. The majority of her teaching career has been in 7th and 8th grade math, so she knows how to prepare 5th graders for that giant step to middle school! She is looking forward to working with the next group of 5th graders at Chestatee!

    Abigail Meyers

    This will be Ms.Meyers' second year teaching at Chestatee. She graduated from The University of North Georgia in 2021 with a B.S. in Early Childhood and Special Education. Following graduation, she was awarded the Fulbright grant to teach English abroad in Taipei, Taiwan. While there, she had the privilege to work with 1st through 6th graders helping to develop their English language skills and participate in cultural exchange. Ms.Meyers' is so excited to continue her teaching career here at Chestatee!

    Kelly Vitiello

    This will be Mrs. Kelly Vitiello's second year of teaching. Mrs. Vitiello graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Western Governors University. She is beyond excited to have the opportunity to start her teaching career with Chestatee Elementary on the 5th grade team! Mrs. Vitiello wants to make learning meaningful and fun for her students.     Morgan Wade

    This will be Morgan Wade’s eighth year teaching and her first year at Chestatee. Ms. Wade received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, along with a reading endorsement, from the University of North Georgia. She then earned both her Master’s degree and Specialist degree from Piedmont University. Ms. Wade has previously taught third grade and fifth grade in Forsyth County. She is thrilled to be joining the “T” and can’t wait to meet her amazing students!
