    Connie McCrary Connie McCrary, Principal

    Mrs. Connie McCrary is in her seventeenth year as principal at Little Mill Middle School. She served as principal at Vickery Creek Middle for four years and as assistant principal at Vickery Creek Middle and North Forsyth Middle for five years prior to her current placement. Before becoming an administrator, she taught fifth and sixth grades with the Cobb County Schools. 

    Mrs. McCrary earned her B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Georgia. She holds middle grades certification in language arts and social studies from Kennesaw State University. She earned her Master’s in Administration and Supervision from the State University of West Georgia. She also earned her Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Greg, and their two daughters, Delaney and Beth Anne, reside in Cumming.

    Amber Lee, Assistant Principal
    Mrs. Amber Lee is in her 15th year of education and is excited to join the Little Mill family. Mrs. Lee has served as a classroom teacher, Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal during her tenure with Forsyth County Schools. As a Cumming, Georgia native, she graduated from Forsyth County Schools before attending Young Harris College. She finished her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Georgia and she is a proud member of the Bulldog Nation! She later received a Master's Degree from the University of North Georgia, an Educational Specialist Degree from Piedmont College and is currently pursuing an Educational Doctorate from Kennesaw State University.

    In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband, Wes, 7-year-old son, Hudson, and their Boston Terrier, Fancy. She loves to travel and experience new places! She also loves to bake and read. She looks forward to an amazing school year with the Little Mill family!

    Brooks  Aimee Brooks, Assistant Principal

    Mrs. Aimee Brooks is in her 23rd year in education and is excited to be part of the Little Mill Middle School administrative team.  Mrs. Brooks moved to Little Mill in 2015 and served for three years as an 8th grade math teacher.  In 2018, she taught 6th grade science.  In 2019, Mrs. Brooks became the Graduation Coach and served in that position for three years.  

    Mrs. Brooks earned her Bachelors of Science in middle grades math and science from the University of North Georgia, her Master’s Degree in middle grades math education from Piedmont College, and her Specialist’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College as well.  Additionally, she earned certification in Educational Leadership from Piedmont College, and she is endorsed as an Instructional Coach.

    In her free time, Mrs. Brooks enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  Mrs. Brooks and her husband Mike have two daughters (Emily and Kaitlyn), two dogs (Cairo and Minnie), and one cat (Marshmallow).

    David Reed, Assistant Administrator

    Mr. David Reed is in his 25th year in education and is excited to be joining the Little Mill Middle School administrative team. Mr. Reed began his education career in 1999 at Armstrong Middle School in Starkville, Mississippi, before moving to Lost Mountain Middle School in Cobb County, Georgia in 2001. In 2013, Mr. Reed joined the staff at Piney Grove Middle School (Forsyth County). At Piney Grove, Mr. Reed served as a 7th and 8th grade special education teacher, athletic director, and assistant administrator.

    Mr. Reed has a wide array of experience in the classroom teaching Physical Education, Health, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts.

    Originally from Starkville, Mississippi,  Mr. Reed received a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Mississippi State University, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia.

    When he is away from school, Mr. Reed enjoys spending time with his wife, Erica, and his children, Levi and Emmalyn. He enjoys being bad at golf, making BBQ, and being stressed watching Mississippi State sports.
