    K-12 Mathematics Trajectory
Elementary students are exposed to number sense, computation, geometry, measurement, data and statistics, algebraic thinking and patterns and daily problem solving starting in kindergarten. Middle school students are exposed to all of these strands, with a daily focus on algebraic skills and real-world problem solving. High school students expand on the foundations set in grades K-8 and have opportunities to take a program of study in mathematics that suits their current and post-secondary needs, including Advanced Placement (AP) math courses and distance learning calculus classes through the Georgia Institute of Technology.
