    The academic achievement of our students is very important to us.  Everyday we settle down to the business of educating the precious future of our country and work on preparing our students to strive for excellence.  Language Arts and Mathematics have as their foundation the  and the in the other academic disciplines.  In addition, all academic areas implement the rigorous curriculum standards mandated by the Forsyth County School System and the inquiry-based learning strategies developed by LMS administration to take our teaching beyond the state standards.

     

    Interdisciplinary Teams
     

    Liberty Middle School is structured around interdisciplinary teams.  Interdisciplinary teams are groups of two and four teachers that work together to plan, teach, and support a specific group of students. These teachers share a common planning time during the school day at which time they can discuss student needs and plan interdisciplinary lessons. Teachers constantly look for ways to connect lessons, activities and projects across subject areas.
