    The ASPIRE Program (Active Student Participation Inspires Student Engagement) takes social-emotional learning to another level by providing the student age-appropriate foundational skills that encourage self-awareness, self-determination and self-advocacy skills. Each activity can be adapted and modified to meet the unique learning styles and needs of the student. The skills are taught through a series of activities that build on each other from year to year. Using each activity as a template or guide, the student is able to share (self-advocate) information about himself with the IEP team. This can then personalize the IEP leading towards a more meaningful IEP and Transition Plan (8th - HS).
