Thank you to all of our athletes that tried out for the Lakeside Lions 2024-2025 football team.
The coaches at Lakeside appreciate all your hard work and are proud of each one of you.

We hope tryouts have been an enjoyable experience for every child and parent. Unfortunately, we are faced with the tough decision of picking a limited number of players. The coaching staff has made every effort to make sure each player was treated equally and given every opportunity to show his skills. We understand that not making a team is a disappointing time. It is also a time to hold your head high and to be proud of your accomplishments.

If you have not been selected for this Fall’s team, we encourage you to try again next spring. We know there will be some good ball players that will not make the team. That is why we encourage you to sign up at the park. We encourage and want you to attend our summer workout program Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 7:00-9:30 A.M. This will help you prepare for your season at the park as well as keep you involved in our program. As far as we are concerned, whether you make this year’s team or not, you are still a part of the Lakeside Lions football family.

We want to remain connected and would like to see how your upcoming season progresses. If you see one of the coaches, at school or in the community, let them know how you are doing. Bring us a copy of your schedule.
We would like to come out and watch you play.

If you are one of the fortunate ones who are selected, congratulations. Now that you are a member of the TEAM a lot will be expected of you. Prepare to work harder than you have ever worked, this summer and next season. A LION never quits. Always conduct yourself respectfully at school and in public.
You are now a representative of our team and a reflection of each of your teammates and coaches.

We appreciate all the parents who have allowed us to coach your boys.
