February is the month of love! Valentine’s Day is February 14th, and Galentine's Day is a global holiday that celebrates women's friendship on February 13th. This year, the Forsyth County Education Foundation and the Duck celebrated Quackentine’s Day on February 21st!
To celebrate Quackentines Day, the foundation governing board surprised each school at their monthly administrator's meeting with a check for $1340, a duck cupcake, and a photo with The Duck and their principal. This money is to be used for school supplies needed for each school from Publix Tools for Back to School Campaign. Thank you to Publix for this partnership!
