Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices. It includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can also include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Cyberbullying can be unrelenting as it can occur all times of the day and night through social networks, text messaging, email and online gaming.

To help students learn how to be good citizens online, ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app provides instruction on Cyberbullying and Self-Image for students in grades 2-12 through our county-wide Digital Citizenship Plan.
The Forsyth County Board of Education also has a very clear policy on bullying and cyberbullying.
Contact your child's teacher or school administration if you suspect that cyberbullying is occurring.
